Introduction

The “1st Iranian Ornamental Fishes Conference” will be held by Fisheries Organization of Iran and Fisheries Research Organization of Iran and with collaboration of Contemporary Conference Organizers and Donyaye-Abzian Seasonal Scientific and Research Magazine and other relevant Scientific and educational organizations and institutions on late June, 2010 for the duration of two days in Tehran-Iran.

The main goal of this conference is creating a dynamic scientific environment for relevant producers and experts to get more familiar with latest advanced scientific achievements, research highlights and innovative technologies on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of ornamental fishes diseases, expansion and extension of public culture for getting acquainted with ornamental fishes rearing and propagation industry, as well as investigation the major constraints confronting this industry and improving its current situation.

It is noteworthy to state that besides this Conference, a specialized exhibition, workshops and the special ceremony for selection of the most high-qualified locally produced and imported ornamental fishes, will also be held at the same venue.

Call for paper

All abstracts must be submitted online and written in English. Abstracts should be prepared according to the following instructions:

• Use the font type Times New Roman for all parts of abstract. Use font size 14 for the title and 11 for the rest parts. Title should be in Boldface with initial letter in capital.
  
• Title, Authors’ Names, Affiliations, Corresponding author’s email should be center aligned. Use asterisk for corresponding author and superscript numbers for affiliations.
• Objective, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion, and Keywords (5-7) should be left aligned. Do not exceed 400 words for the body of abstract.
• Abstracts must be submitted utmost to May 5, 2010.
• After you submit your abstract, the system will automatically send you an e-mail indicating a successful submission. If you do not receive this confirmation e-mail within 24 hours, it means the submission did not succeed and you should try again.
• Submission of printed abstracts will not be accepted.
• You must select your preferred method of presentation.

Conference Participation

Conference participation fee will be 120€/each person.

The fee includes:

• conference publications and CDs
